SRUK TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR UKSA LEAGUES, CLUBS & INDEPENDENT COACHES

Terms effective from 7.9.21 and are subject to review at any time.

  • Course Application & Fees
    • By signing your Course Application you accept the Terms and Conditions as laid out below.
    • All Terms & Conditions and Fees are correct as at time of publication but may be subject to change.
    • Stephen Feeney / SightRight (UK) Limited herein after referred to as SRUK has the right to decline any application for any reason should they feel it is not in the best interests of the SightRight Brand or if it is felt there is any conflict of interest in the Applicant’s current coaching commitments or affiliations.
    • In the event SRUK has to cancel a Course due to unforeseen circumstances, alternative Course dates will be provided. If the dates provided are unacceptable to the applicant then a full refund will be provided.
    • Accreditation and Monthly SightRight License
    • Applicants participating in the Coach Programme understand they cannot coach SightRight Methods unless they successfully pass the course and become fully accredited and licensed by SRUK.
    • Should the applicant, in SRUK’s opinion, not reach the required level of competence on a course, they will be invited back to the next course at a discounted rate.
    • Successful candidates will receive a SightRight Coaching License from the date of accreditation, renewed Monthly on payment of a Monthly License Fee.
    • SRUK Monthly Licence Fees for Leagues | Clubs | Coaches
    • Upon accreditation the League | Club | Coach (as applicable) agrees to pay SRUK a monthly License Fee (dependant on type of accreditation). 
      
    • Monthly Licence Fees should be paid by Direct Debit on the 1st Day of Every Month and will cover:
      
      - Authorisation to coach SightRight Methods at Level 1.
      
      - Authorisation to use the SightRight Branding & Trademark in promotional material.
      
      - Promotion as an Accredited SightRight Level 1 Coach in all SightRight Media.
      
      - Ongoing technical coaching support from SRUK
      
      SRUK’s Standard Monthly Licence Fees are as listed: League £9.95pm starting in year 2 / Club £50pm Coach 1 plus £30pm per additional Coach / Independent £30pm
      
      (Note: Standard Monthly Licence Fees may fluctuate at SRUK discretion re Offers etc)
    • Failure to pay the Monthly License Fee will see a temporary suspension of the License. Non payment within a Month of the Due Date will result in a withdrawal of the Licence and all SightRight Coaching Aids to be returned to SRUK.
  • Where and Who Can You Coach as a SightRight Level 1 Coach?
    • SightRight Level 1 Coaches are authorised to Coach Amateur Players, only on a One to One basis and Group Coaching Clinics, at the Coaches’ nominated Club(s) as per Application Details,
    • SightRight Coaches are excluded from coaching SightRight Methods for / with any Governing Bodies, Federations, Associations affiliated to a Governing Body, or any Academy Institutions.
    • Requests for SightRight Coaching by a Governing Body, Federation, Association affiliated to a Governing Body, or any Academy Institutions should be directed immediately to SightRight (UK) Ltd to be dealt with on an individual basis.
       
  • Coaching a Cue Sports Professional
    • Where a SightRight Coach wishes to coach a Cue Sports Professional (as defined by their Governing Body) in SightRight Methods, this should be referred by the Coach to SRUK prior to any coaching for SRUK consideration and / or sanction. If sanctioned by SRUK the Professional will be promoted as a Player using SightRight Methods and the Coach will need to provide SRUK with a sanction letter from the Player re use of Images / Testimonials.
  • Amateur Coaching Fees Structure
    • Our Amateur ‘One to One’ Coaching Fees Structure for Master Coaches & Level 1 Coaches is set and reviewed centrally by SRUK from time to time to maintain consistency and fair charging by all Coaches.
  • SightRight Global Cue Sports Network - Player Skill Certification Testing Fees & Commission
    • SightRight Global Cue Sports Network ‘Player Accreditation’ Session & Certification Fees will be set and reviewed centrally by SRUK.
  • Maintaining Standards
    • Once accredited, should SRUK feel the performance of a coach is not reaching the required standard then he will invite the Coach to a One Day ‘Refresher’ Course (fees will apply). If performance does not improve to the required standard, the license may / will be suspended until such time SRUK is satisfied. The coach understands they will not be allowed to coach until their license is reinstated.
  • Governance Re Coaching License
    • Circumstances under which license could be withdrawn include, but are not limited to:
      • Failure to pay the Monthly License Fee.
      • Evidence of a Coach working beyond the terms of their qualification or official sanction by SRUK.
      • Breach of any of SRUK’s intellectual property rights.
      • Failure to personally promote or endorse SightRight Coaching Methods.
      • Making detrimental comments about SightRight.
    • Should at any time SRUK decide to revoke a coaching license, the applicant agrees to return all SightRight coaching materials to SRUK within 14 days.
    • Should a Coach, at any time wish to surrender their SightRight Coaching License, a Month’s Notice is required and all SightRight Coaching Equipment and Intellectual Property should be returned to SightRight (UK) Ltd.
  • Intellectual Property Rights / Copyright / Confidentiality and Non Disclosure
    • All intellectual property rights, including techniques, knowhow, literature, video footage etc, remain the property of Stephen Feeney and SightRight (UK) Ltd and are protected by patents, copyright, trademark and all other legal protection that extends to the intellectual property.
    • All SightRight Course information, Content, Literature, Coaching and Training Methods are strictly confidential and must not be disclosed by Course Applicants / Coaches with any other individual  or organisation, other than during licensed SightRight Coaching Activities.
    • SightRight Coaching Aids must not be reproduced or shared with any other individual or organisation.
    • SightRight Coaches must at all times protect confidentiality of SightRight Coaching Methods and must not, under any circumstances, issue, publish, post or share videos or images of SightRight Coaching Equipment or SightRight Coaching Practices / Routines on any non authorised ‘IT’ platform / Social Media.
